Sue has been hooked on stories since the day she was able to pick up a book and turn a page, rather than chew on the binding.
Instead of a misspent youth, she was in her bedroom devouring gothic romances and listening to her favourite songs on a Westinghouse transistor radio.
After a long detour into Town Planning, Sue found herself at a loose end and, after having several books published by Totally Bound, applied for editing work. To her surprise, she passed the tests with flying colours and embarked on a new career as a freelance editor. After several years and shepherding hundreds of manuscripts from submission to final version, she set up her own business in September 2017, No Stone Unturned Editing.
Apart from her love of books, Sue has also travelled extensively, has a great interest in history and current events, and still thinks about writing more books under her pen names S A Meade and S A Laybourn.
Sue lives in Wiltshire where she shares her home with her son (when he’s not at university), a dog and two geriatric cats.
